The filmmakers behind Rising Phoenix
Tobias Elvhage is an award-winning producer and director with nearly twenty years in film and television. Since 2010, he has produced and directed series and documentaries for international audiences, spanning cultural narratives, haute cuisine, and human rights, in collaboration with leading Swedish universities and institutions.
His productions have earned twelve awards, including Best Short Film at the LA Documentary Film Festival and Best POV Documentary at the Manhattan Film Festival, where the jury recognized his docudrama Gender Transformation for its "contribution to cinema."
With a passion for film as a powerful tool for communication, Andrea has successfully developed numerous program concepts for television. Her training at NTD Television's headquarters in New York, combined with her experience as CEO of the production company Journey West Media in Stockholm, has equipped her with a unique blend of skills. Andrea is the production manager at Rising Phoenix Film. She also composes film music, and her scores appear throughout our productions.
